It's amazing to think it's almost been a year since I graced the world with my presence. This time last year, i was collecting my bags and making the long trip down from Mama's rib cage to well, the outside world. (the technical terms are much harder to spell)
It's been a crazy year too! I've met a TON of people and learned even more things. I have been astounding people since the day I was born. Mama and Daddy were smitten right away even though Mama said I hurt her a little bit. I told her to grow a set.
From the time I lifted my head about 6 hours after being born to walking, it's been a great ride! Mama and Daddy have done a great job in making sure I'm fed, bathed, loved, getting sleep and not hurting myself too much. (It's hard to learn to do stuff without SOME bumps and bruises along the way) I know that they've gotten a lot of advice from Mumsie, Abuela Lita, Nana, Grandpopi, Auntie Marie, Auntie Wendy, Uncle Mikey and Auntie Helene, but I'm sure they would have done a wonderful job either way!
My favorite moments of the year.. too many to name but here's a few
1. my grand entrance. I copied RyRy not just on the day he was born, but also his style. I put my hands on my face too! It was a tricky move, but it totally paid off.
2. Seeing Mama and Daddy
3. Seeing Mumsie, Nana, Grandpopi, Auntie Marie, Abuela Lita, Auntie Wendy, Auntie Helene, Uncle Mike and all my cousins
4. Dogs! i love the dogs
5. pooping on Mama during my photo shoot
6. Sleeping in Mama and Daddy's bed
7. Sleeping on Daddy
8. Peeing on the scale at the dr.'s office
9. Impressing Dr. Dobos at all of my appointments. Also not having to have surgery bc of my heart
10. Baby massages
11. walking / crawling
12. jump jump / stomp stomp
13. watermelon
14. bath time
15. hair! i finally got hair!

And we're off!
A lot has in the last few months and I apologize to all my avid fans for
not posting sooner. I took my first steps (that Mama and Daddy know
about anyway... they don't know I've been practicing in my crib at
night) while we were at Stepping Stones 3 weeks ago. They were SO
excited! It was cute actually. I didn't even give them my best steps. I
wanted to give them a little taste of what I could do and leave them
wanting more.
On Daddy's birthday, I was practicing my walking all day with Mumsie and Abeula. When Daddy came to get me, I was ready! No one knew my plan (well, except Cartman but he promised he wouldn't tell. Although, I'm pretty sure he told Skyler. i can't prove it though...) So when Daddy showed up, I walked 6 steps to him! He was so happy!!! It was so sweet to see his big smile. I hope he liked my birthday present to him. Mama took away my credit card so I couldn't buy him anything. (don't worry, a new one is in the mail - shhhh)
It's a good thing I gave Daddy my present because Mama didn't get her act together at all. She forgot to get Daddy a card (and I can't drive so I couldn't get one) and a cake! Who forgets Cake?? I'm not even entirely sure what Cake is but it sounds amazing. Nana brought Daddy a cake though so he wasn't too horribly mad at Mama.
I've been taking a few more steps everyday so I can build up my confidence. It's a little scary this whole walking thing... One minute you're totally balanced, the next some nitwit didn't pick up a toy that was left on the floor and you're on your butt. (not to point any fingers.. cough cough mama cough cough)
Mama and Daddy put together a new bookcase for all of my great toys. It has bright colored canvas basket things to hold them all. I really like to take everything out of them and throw them all over the room. It's so much fun. Mama was so sneaky last night and took a video of me playing with my bookcase and toys. I then saw my toy chest was moved and so I decided to really give Mama a thrill.
