Sadness

Mama said that today was a very sad day. I'm not entirely sure what's going on but I got loads of hugs and kisses today from everyone. Mumsie and Abuela took me to Mama's office and then we all went to Stepping Stones for a while.

Once Mama and I got home, Daddy gave me lots of hugs too. I could sense that they had heavy hearts and could see that they were sad. We went out to dinner and I tried to cheer everyone up by telling jokes and dancing. Mama and Daddy got me 2 kinds of ice cream, vanilla and mint chocolate chip. Mama said that one was hers, but she did a good job of sharing it. They were yummy. Daddy kept trying to steal some ice cream so I had to get the bowl closer to me.
