We got there early and Mama went and got a coffee. I was watching Momo so i didn't really care. Luckily, we still got back to the dr. office with 2 minutes to spare before they opened. i would not have been happy if we had been second in line because someone needed a cup o joe.
had to wait a few minutes for dr. dobos to be ready and so i looked at the fishy's, (nom nom nom. they looked yummy) and played on the school bus. I fell and hit my head, but it mostly just scared me. it didn't hurt to much but i cried anyway. serves them right for letting me do that and not telling me to be careful.
finally, Taylor came out (the nurse) and he took my weight and temperature. i almost weight 24lbs (which means i'm in the 13th percentile for weight. whatever that means). Taylor took my temperature under my arm. Mama - are you taking notes? you can do it under my arm for goodness sake. sheesh.
Dr. Dobos came in a little while later and listened to my heart, lungs, felt my tummy (glad he didn't do that on Monday when i threw up), looked in my ears and up my nose. he said i didn't have too many boogies (um maybe because i pick them out? joking mama joking... i'm a lady and mama gets them out for me. haha) but that he could hear the boogies when i breathe.
then they stuck 2 super long q-tips down my throat. i think they were trying to make me throw up, buncha weirdos. then they sent me to go back and play on that evil school bus that attacked me. I didn't want to, i wanted to watch momo instead.
a little while later, Dr. Dobos came out and said that i do have strep throat. so that's why my throat hurts!!! finally. we have an answer as to why i have had a fever for a few days and why my throat hurts. Maybe i'll still get ice cream for breakfast tomorrow if i pout a little. what do you think?
