The Tales, Antics and Outfits of Emma Mackenzie: Virginia is where I turned Two

I tried to make that rhyme, but i'm only two years old. not three.

Now, let's go back in time to when we left for Virginia. It's important to get the full picture of my turning two.

Thursday night:
Mama and Daddy came to get me at Mumsie's house after I had eaten dinner and had a nice bath. I got new Tinkerbell pajamies so that was nice. Mama and Daddy got Abuela and i loaded up into the car and we turned on a movie so I could watch it while we drove.

and then it started to rain. Now, not a nice rain, but the pouring down so hard there are floods kind of rain. Mama said that she was nervous driving, but I couldn't tell... mainly because i was totally passed out. It's hard to not fall asleep with the sound of the ocean over your head.

A million hours later, I woke up and we were at Uncle Mike and Aunt Helene's house. Mama picked me up and took me to the front door. We had to wait for Uncle Mike to wake up and let us in. I thought we had forgotten the keys and so i said, very loud and clearly "oh no! we forgot the keys!" Mama and Abuela looked at me and laughed and hugged me. I wasn't so sure what was so funny but i laughed too. Uncle Mike let us in and we went downstairs to the playroom. All the toys were put away, but I still managed to find some toys in some drawers. Mama and Daddy kept trying to put me into a pack n play to sleep, but i wasn't tired. I know it was 2am and all, but I had just slept for 5 straight hours. I wasn't tired! When Mama and Daddy laid down to go to sleep, I very very quietly climbed out of the pack n play. Once I was free, i went up to Mama who was about to fall asleep in bed and I just stood next to her and watched her. She looked so sleepy. I probably should have just played quietly, but I wanted her to know that the pack n play plan was over. brawahhahahahahha. I reached out and very gently touched mama. Mama jumped and nearly had a heart attack. It was so funny but it kinda scared me. Daddy jumped too and that was hilarious. It was just me! who did they think it was? I guess they didn't know just how strong and ninja-like I was so they were surprised to see me next to their bed.

After a long time of playing the "go to bed" game, I finally went back to sleep around 3:30 in the pack n play (not enough room on the pull out sofa. those two are bed hogs).

Friday was a little chilly and SUPER windy. RyRy and I played a lot outside. He taught me a fun game called "run, chase and fall". it's pretty easy. You run around, chase each other and then fall on the ground. I like to say "Boom" when I fall. it's so much fun. we played that for hours.

Saturday we went to a petting zoo farm. I saw a 100 year old tortoise, bunnies, ducks, chicks, horses, and a turkey. I also fed some baby goats, went on 2 pony rides and 2 camel rides! it was so cool.

After all the fun at the zoo, we came home and played. After dinner there was even some ice cream cake! Happy birthday to us indeed

Sunday was RyRy's birthday party. It was so fun to play with his friends. They like to play the run, chase and fall game too. I also played with the older girls in the sandbox and another little boy with the wagon. I also got the much sought after and coveted lawn mower. that was the best!

I also got yummy strawberry cake. It was so delicious.
