Special time with Daddy

Mama left for a business trip on Monday and decided that I should stay home and keep Daddy company. Otherwise he'd be home all alone and might be up to no good playing video games, eating junk food and walking around pant-less. I don't know what is so bad about not wearing pants. I often run around the house buck naked. it's wonderful to feel the breeze on your tush when you're running around the house after a nice warm bath.

After Daddy and I ate Cocoa Puffs (just kidding Mumsie... they were apple jacks ;) ) for breakfast, I told him i wanted to wear by doo-doo (tutu) and we danced with a cool balloon that Mumsie and Abuela got Mama for mothers day. It plays music! how neat is that?

Daddy was getting a little out of breath during our dance party so then we went to the park to play. I had a great time going on the 'weeeee' and down the 'wee' (swing and slide for those of you who don't know what a weeeee and a wee is)
on the weeee

going down the wee

i love playing in the tennis courts! catch me if you can daddy!

That night, Mama was still on her business trip and I was getting a little cranky about this. All day babysitting daddy? and all i got was a lousy nap. Oh yeah, and it got cut short because someone scheduled a dentist appointment for the middle of the day! who does that?

I ate an ok dinner. I mean, it was tasty and all, but i just wasn't in the mood. I was too upset that Mama was STILL away. even after bath time. WTF. (no idea what it means but all the 5 year olds who can spell are spelling that. i think it means why the frown.)

I decided to go ahead and go to sleep (after making sure that Daddy was checking up on me enough times that is... i think 5 was the magic number).

When I woke up, Mama was still gone. But, Daddy did have a new doo-doo (tutu) for me to wear. I wore it all around the house and even found mama's slippers. I put them on and danced.

here are some more photos of me playing at the park. daddy was the one taking the pictures. Daddy said that Mama was on a plane home and that after the park, dinner, bath, diaper changes and sleep, that she would be back!
