Friday June 17 - Mommy and Me class at the hospital

Today Daddy had to wake up at 4am to be at work at 5! I couldn't believe it. He had to get up earlier than I do! He kissed me goodbye and then left. About 20 minutes after he left, I woke up. Mommy wasn't too sad since I had done a pretty good job of sleeping during the night. I only woke up from 1 - 2am and then from 3-4am! after I ate and was changed, I went back to sleep. Mommy tried but couldn't really fall back asleep. Then she got me from my bassinet and let me sleep on her. Then she slept great. But don't tell Daddy because he doesn't like it when she falls asleep with me in the bed. He's worried that she might roll over me! I promised him I'd yell like crazy if she did because well, frankly it would probably hurt being rolled on. He's still not entirely convinced.

When Mommy changed me she was a little concerned because I had green mucusy poop. I hadn't had that before (other than last night when Daddy changed me). Mommy was afraid that perhaps I was allergic to dairy so she did a ton of research and decided to try and limit the amount of dairy she was eating. This is upsetting because i really like cheese! nom nom nom

Mom decided that today we should go to the Mommy and Me / Support Class at the hospital where i was born. We got ready and drove to the hospital. Once again, she was pointing things out to me, but I'm too short to see out the window. We got to the hospital and Mommy parked the car and got me out. Then we did the really long walk to where the class was. I tried to tell mommy to bring the stroller and push me, but she didn't listen. By the time we got to the class her arms were on fire from carrying me and the car seat! maybe next time she'll listen better.

we get to the class and there are a bunch of older babies there. I was the 3rd youngest but by far the cutest. The class was really boring so I slept the whole time. Mommy didn't seem that interested in the class either but didn't know how to politely escape. The class talked about pretty boring stuff or about stuff that Mommy wouldn't need to worry ab out for a few months. Mommy thought it'd be more of a support group, but it wasn't. The other moms wanted to know about sleep schedules and going back to work. Mommy wanted to know about different kinds of things like, how to not lose your mind... .little things like that.

the class ended and we drove on home and waited for Daddy to come home and hang out with us.
