Today I got my first real bath! Since my belly button cord thingy fell off, Mommy and Daddy have been waiting to give me a proper bath. I guess the belly button has to be really dried up before it can go into water. Maybe it's like a gremlin that multiplies or whatever when it gets wet. Who knows. I'm sure they know what they're doing. If not, they're pretty good at faking it.
Mommy and Daddy got my bath all nice and ready and changed my diaper. Then Mommy placed me in the tub and covered my belly with a warm wet wash cloth so I wouldn't get cold. Then daddy held onto me so I couldn't try and swim away. I didn't mind the bath. It was nice and warm. Mommy washed my head with some soap and then under my neck. It was nice to get all fresh and clean. After they were done sudsing me up, they rinsed me off in clean water and then got me into a nice warm towel. After I was all dried up, I got into a nice comfy outfit, ate some nosh and went to sleep! I was a good girl and didn't cry until I was getting dressed. But I only cried because i was a little chilly. Once I had my fancy duds on, I was good to go!
